Greg Biffle boosted his race for the Chase with a solid points haul from a fourth place in the Bristol NASCAR night race.
The bad news is that his main danger for a chase position, Kyle Busch won the race.

“We lost points to 13th place, that’s what people have got to keep in mind. We’re trying to stay ahead of 13th. We’re going to have to wait and see. I know we gained on the 83, obviously, but the 18 is who we’ve got to stay in front of, and he gained on us a little bit tonight, ” said Biffle.
Biffle lead early only to fade in the middle of the race before rebounding at the end.
“We were pretty good early. It just got too tight, and I didn’t adjust on it quick enough. I should’ve adjusted on it quicker. But, it was one of those things. I should’ve adjusted on it earlier and more, ” said Biffle.
At the last series of restarts the inside spot on the second row did not work as well the outside starting position, so third and fourth and places changed regularly.
“Whoever’s on the outside has a clear advantage. It’s too bad that that caution came out there at the end – we were going to finish third, and might’ve had an opportunity to get up there for the win,” said Biffle.
Aussie drive Marcos Ambrose beat Biffle at eh last restart, claiming his best NASCAR oval race finish.
