Marcos Ambrose dominated the NAPA Auto Parts 200 for the third consecutive year at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve only to once again leave winless in Montreal, Canada today.
Ambrose dominated the race, leading 60 of the 76 laps in today’s race, but then the rain came and continual yellow flag periods prevented Ambrose from keeping his lead.

“I’m jinxed around this joint, I’ll tell you now. I mean, we had 15,000 restarts and got away with them all,” said Ambrose.
This let Carl Edwards get close enough to pressure Ambrose into a small mistake at the final corner of the race, allow Carl Edwards to pass and beat Ambrose to the chequered flag.
“I just made a mistake at the end there and lost the race,” said Ambrose.
“Any other lap, any other corner, I would have got it straight back.”
