Richard Petty Motorsports To Run Fords In 2010

DEARBORN, Mich. – After 40 years, Richard Petty’s name will once again be associated with Ford.

The legendary “King” of NASCAR’s race team – Richard Petty Motorsports – has signed a letter of intent to merge operations with Ford-backed Yates Racing in time for the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup season. Rea Wins and Checa Scores Double Podium

Jonathan Rea won the second of today’s 11th round of World Superbike championship races at Nurburgring in Germany on a Hannspree Ten Kate Honda. It was his and the team’s second World Superbike victory of the season and his fifth podium finish. Rea’s success came after placing fourth in the first outing.
