Ducati and Stoner to part company at the end of 2010

The four year collaboration between Ducati and Casey Stoner will end at the Valencia Grand Prix on November 7th 2010. This has been an important relationship, characterized by a strong reciprocal esteem and many victories, among which the first MotoGP World Title for both the Italian manufacturer and the Australian rider. Stoner Back On Podium at Assen

Casey Stoner picked up his first podium of the season at the Dutch TT at Assen today after a tough race run at a very fast pace. Only three riders – eventual race winner Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa and the Ducati Team rider – were able to maintain until the end.

Hayden’s Misano Curse Continues in Ducati Home Race

Ducati rider Nicky Hayden once again was cruelly sent tumbling out of the opening lap of the San Marino Grand Prix. This time it was wayward local rider Alex de Angelis.

Hayden made a superb start from the second row of the grid. However, a late braking manoeuvre from the San Marinese in the second turn left the American with no time or space to react and his rear wheel was clipped, sending him to the same gravel trap as last time Hayden raced here.
